Push Ultra Lounge Returning To Former Red Mesa Site
Within hours of Red Mesa Cantina announcing its closure, investors unveiled plans to bring Push Ultra Lounge back to downtown St. Petersburg.
The project will reimagine the iconic downtown space with a Balkan-inspired restaurant on the ground floor and Push 2.0 occupying the space above.
“We’re going from chips and salsa to kebaps and ajvar,” project consultant Peter Ivanovich said.
The concept combines authentic Eastern European dining with a carefully curated piece of downtown history.
“We saw an opportunity to repackage an iconic era of downtown nightlife for today’s consumer,” Ivanovich added.
Developers say visitors can once again expect long lines at the door and in front of bathroom mirrors.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
